FitBalance
Snap food photos, AI counts calories, a frog cheers you on
FitBalance is a calorie counter that doesn't feel like paperwork: snap your plate and the AI logs calories & macros in seconds. Inside lives a frog buddy you can name — it cheers you on, spins the Lucky Wheel with you and wears 20+ unlockable skins. Water tracker, weight charts, workout log, smart meal reminders (9/14/19/21 + custom). Privacy-first: everything stays on your phone, no signup. Solo-built in Kotlin + Compose. Free with a 36-hour PRO trial for new users.
Hey hunters! Solo dev here — one Kotlin codebase, one very motivated frog 🐸 I built FitBalance because logging food by hand killed my consistency: typing "boiled buckwheat, 150 g" is not a habit anyone keeps. So the app recognizes your plate from a photo and counts calories & macros for you. The frog? Because losing weight is easier when someone tiny cheers for you. Gamification inside: coins, Lucky Wheel, 20+ skins, frog shop. Privacy-first: all data on-device, no signup. The app speaks English and Russian — you pick at first launch and can switch anytime in settings. Questions, roast, ideas — AMA! What would make you open a calorie app every day?
