FishScout started because I got tired of juggling 10 different apps, outdated reports, random screenshots, and seasonal notes just to stay on top of different fisheries as a multi species fisherman and spearfisherman.
I was constantly tracking trout stockings, tides, seasonal migrations, lake conditions, and local reports across California and every time I talked to other anglers, I kept hearing the same complaints about existing fishing apps. Fake hotspots, recycled catches, paywalls, outdated intel, and way too much clutter.
So instead of complaining about it, I decided to build the fishing app I always wished existed.
FishScout combines verified catches, live stocking updates, AI bite predictions, maps, regulations, tides, gear tracking, spearfishing reports, and community tools into one platform built by actual fishermen.
And we’re making it free for early users while we build it with feedback from the community.
