We are thrilled to share Firestorm 2, a bitmap and layer editor designed natively from the ground up for macOS.
We wanted to build an image editor that feels completely at home on Mac—fluid, lightweight, and tightly integrated into a developer or designer's daily asset pipeline. Whether you're quickly cropping screenshots, compositing vector shapes with SF Symbols, or prepping production-ready assets for Xcode, Firestorm 2 handles it with absolute precision. It's not even close to What Macromedia Fireworks once was though it was always on our minds while developing Firestorms 2. It still is.

・ Granular Exporting: Save your entire canvas or export individual isolated layers as independent image assets.
・ Full Undo/Redo: Every single transform, deletion, and movement is fully backed by a bulletproof native undo stack.
