FIRE-1 is an AI agent that enhances Firecrawl’s scraping capabilities. It can controls browser actions and navigates complex website structures to enable comprehensive data extraction beyond traditional scraping methods.
We’re Eric, Caleb, and Nick from Firecrawl, and today we’re launching FIRE-1 — an AI agent that brings intelligent interaction to web scraping.
FIRE-1 doesn’t just extract data — it takes action to get it. Clicks, logins, popups, dynamic content? FIRE-1 handles it all. It navigates websites like a real user to pull the data traditional scrapers miss.
Why FIRE-1?
AI-powered browser control: Click buttons, follow links, interact with modals.
Scrape complex sites: Go beyond static HTML and get the full picture.
Easy to use: Works seamlessly via API, SDK, or in Firecrawl flows.
FIRE-1 is now in open beta — with free usage credits to get you started. Try it in our Playground, check out the docs, and let us know what you think!
Super intriguing—dynamic scraping has always been a headache. How are you managing session persistence or CAPTCHA-heavy sites? Curious how deep FIRE-1 can really go before hitting blockers.
This is great 🔥 I’ve actually been thinking about building a fashion-focused AI agent, and web scraping has been one of the biggest hurdles—especially with dynamic content and login flows. FIRE-1 sounds like exactly the kind of tool I’ve been needing. Definitely checking this out—huge congrats on the launch!
Hey @ericciarla and rest of the @Firecrawl team! Great product! I've been working as a scraping engineer for the past 7 years and I always root for scraping related tools! Could your product become an alternative of playwright or selenium, or I missed the scope of it?
This is fire (sorry..). Loving Firecrawl.
Is it able to access sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, using my login?
That's really cool! Makes a ton of sense for you guys to have an agent like this! Are you using vision models for navigation? Does it act based on coordinates or programmatically on a list of interactable elements? Do you have any speed benchmarks you can share?
I tried out the YC example in the dashboard but it got stuck on loading after the first action and ended up throwing an error without clear logs. How reliable is it currently and when do you expect to be out of beta?
Really exciting stuff, looking forward to see more!
This is exciting — another step towards making the web more legible to LLMs.
It'd be super interesting to see FIRE-1 hooked up to @Strawberry for example...
