Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Sarvesh, the maker of Personal Finance MCP. The idea came from a simple observation: AI is great at explaining finance, but not always great at calculating it. Ask a model how much you need for retirement or what SIP reaches a target corpus, and there's a good chance it's generating a plausible answer rather than performing deterministic math. So I built a different approach. Personal Finance MCP gives AI access to 76 deterministic financial calculators through MCP. The model handles conversation and reasoning, while the calculators handle the mathematics. Every result includes the formula behind it, making outputs auditable and reproducible. The feature I'm most proud of is the routing layer. Users never need to choose a calculator. You simply describe your financial situation in natural language, and the system automatically chains the right tools together to generate a prioritized financial plan. Along the way, the project evolved into a complete platform: • 76 calculators across investments, loans, retirement, portfolio analytics, PPF/EPF, bonds, derivatives, and more • MCP-native integration for Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, and other clients • Live market data including mutual fund NAVs, FX rates, and stock quotes • Full Next.js application with calculator suite and dashboard • Open source under MIT License • 129 automated tests and production-grade hardening I'd love feedback from the Product Hunt community: → How would you improve the tool routing experience? → Which financial calculators or workflows would you add next? → Where do you see MCP-based financial agents heading? Thank you for checking it out and for any feedback, suggestions, or contributions.
