I spent years working at crypto and stock companies, and the thing that
stuck with me most was this: the overwhelming majority of people trading —
in my experience around 90% — can't read a chart. They buy because someone
with a following posted about it. They buy because it's going up, and they
panic and sell because it's going down.
I wanted to give those people something, even a small thing.
FinPick is simple. One app that gets you economic news quickly and shows
what the stocks and coins you actually care about are doing, in real time.
Exchange rates, the Fear & Greed Index, and key economic indicators in a
single view. Coins that are surging or crashing right now, so you can see
the market moving instead of hearing about it afterwards.
There are calculators too — one for working out your new average price
after buying more, and one for seeing what you'd actually walk away with
at a given sell price. Those two seem to be the parts people enjoy most.
It's free and works without an account. It's information only — no signals,
no calls, no advice. I'm not trying to tell anyone what to buy.
I just hope it helps beginners, even a little.

Love how the local timezone default is baked in instead of buried in settings, such a small thing but it immediately makes the FOMC and IPO schedule feel actually usable.
