Hey Product Hunt! I'm Giovambattista, a developer based in Italy, and I built FinderGit to scratch my own itch.
I work on 10+ repos daily. My routine was: Finder to browse files, Terminal to check git status, a GUI client for anything visual. Three tools for one job. Every. Single. Day.
FinderGit replaces that loop. It's a native macOS file browser that shows every repo's branch, status, and changes at a glance. Click a modified file, see the diff inline. Stage, commit, push — all without leaving the window.
