Built Finda because Spotlight kept failing me at the worst times — I'd know the file was right there in ~/Projects/old/2022/draft.md and Spotlight would just… shrug.
So I spent months building a native Mac file-search app from scratch. SQLite FTS5 for the index, FSEvents for live updates, SwiftUI for the UI. Indexes every drive (yes, external too — Spotlight skips those) and returns results before you finish typing.
