Hi Product Hunt! 👋

I built Finantly with my brother after years of tracking our finances in ever-breaking spreadsheets. Excel shows today's snapshot — we wanted to see whether we're actually moving forward.

What's inside:

• Net worth tracked in real time — accounts, cash, stocks & ETFs (daily pricing), real estate and debts, across multiple currencies

• Bank CSV import that learns your choices and auto-suggests categories

• Budgets where income, investments and debt payoff are separate sections — not leftovers after spending

• Onboarding that starts from what matters to you — a real number in minutes, not an empty dashboard

• FIRE, car, real estate and loan-overpayment calculators running on your real data

• AES-256 encryption, GDPR export & delete, no ads, no data selling

For the launch we're opening founding member pricing: 50% off your first year (or your first 6 months on the monthly plan), limited number of spots.

We're a two-person team and this is our first launch — honest feedback means the world. Tell us what's missing, especially around the CSV import. Ask us anything!

Comment highlights

the "excel shows today's snapshot, not whether you're moving forward" line is the actual pitch here, more than the calculators. every bank exports its CSV differently though - different date formats, column orders, some banks split debit/credit into two columns and some use signed amounts in one. how much manual mapping do I have to do the first time I import from a bank you haven't seen before, versus it just guessing right?
