I work in HR, so I'm buried in PDFs all day: offer letters, NDAs, onboarding forms, you name it. My usual options were clunky desktop apps or uploading sensitive employee documents to random sites I didn't fully trust. FileHook let me edit the text right inside an offer letter, sign it, and black out a candidate's details, all without anything leaving my browser. It's free, no signup, and the editing actually kept the original layout instead of scrambling it like most free tools do. Already passing it to the rest of my team.
And the best - Filehook doesn't really ask you to sign up before download. Phew! Scam saved
Dragged a scanned contract in and the OCR actually nailed the formatting on the first try, which is rarer than it should be. Watermark on the free export is a small annoyance but the inline editing feels surprisingly solid for a browser tool.
