The original idea came from the difficulties I encountered when searching for collectible figures. Information from different manufacturers and product lines was scattered across multiple websites, and product names, release dates, and images were often presented inconsistently. This made it difficult to browse efficiently or locate a specific figure.
I wanted to create a more intuitive figure reference website that organizes major manufacturers, characters, series, and release information in one place. With clear visual browsing and a simple search function, users can find the figures they are interested in more quickly.
The project began as a spreadsheet for organizing figure data and gradually developed into a structured database. Over time, I continued improving the mobile browsing experience, infinite scrolling, search functionality, and page structure. During development, my focus also shifted from simply collecting more data to prioritizing accuracy, usability, and long-term maintainability.
