Festival Lights · Holiday lights for Mac
Holiday lights that hang across the top of your Mac
A string of glowing lights under your Mac’s menu bar. Pumpkins, ghosts and bats for Halloween, twinkle lights for Christmas, lanterns for Lunar New Year, even fruit. Click-through, near-zero CPU, every display. Free.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
Every December I’d put lights up around the house and my Mac stayed the same grey rectangle, so I made Festival Lights: a menu bar app that hangs a string of lights along the top of the screen.
It just got its Halloween update: pumpkins, ghosts, bats and candy corn, and a flicker effect that makes a few bulbs stutter like a haunted house. Christmas, winter, New Year, Lunar New Year and Valentine’s themes are already in, and there’s a fruit set for the rest of the year.
It stays out of the way: clicks go straight through the lights, it uses almost no CPU, and you can hide it from the menu bar any time.
It’s free. Tell me which lights you want next!
