## Why I built this
Last fall, I deleted all my focus apps. Not because they were bad — they were actually really good at what they did. I deleted them because I realized I was spending more time checking "how long I've focused" than actually focusing.
Every 25 minutes, I'd open the app: How many hours today? Did I beat last week? Will my streak break? Then I'd spend 5 minutes adjusting tomorrow's goals and another 5 minutes checking if anyone shared their focus stats on social media.
I thought I was managing time. Actually, I was managing anxiety.
## What makes Felt different

Long press to start with a haptic-only flow is genuinely clever, finally a focus timer that respects the whole point of focusing. One thing I'd love: a quiet "how much time left" pulse you can summon by tapping the screen once mid-session, so you can sanity check without breaking the spell. Could even reuse one of the existing rhythms at a different intensity so it stays consistent with the no-look philosophy.
