The core idea is factoring in temperature, humidity, wind, UV, and pressure to give you feelings that captures what conditions actually feel like on your body. You can also pick a personality for how it talks to you: Feels Like, Outfit Check, Comedian, or Cozy. Each one genuinely changes the writing style and I'm working on a couple more. I've also added Scenes which is a feature to change the background to specific landscapes such as cities, 7 wonders and more.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Daniel, the maker of Feel.
Like most people, I checked the weather every day, but I realized I was still asking myself the same questions:
Do I need a jacket?
Will it feel uncomfortable outside?
Is this a good day for a walk?
Should I bring an umbrella?
Weather apps are packed with numbers, but numbers don't always tell you how the day will actually feel.
That's why I built Feel.
Instead of focusing on temperatures and charts, Feel translates weather data into simple, human language. The app combines conditions like temperature, humidity, wind, UV, and precipitation to describe what you can realistically expect when you step outside.
The goal is simple: help people make better everyday decisions without needing to interpret a weather report.
A few things you'll find in Feel:
☀️ Human-friendly weather summaries
🧠 AI-powered weather interpretations
📍 Multiple saved locations
🎨 Different personality styles and themes
📱 A clean, distraction-free experience
This is my first public launch, and I'd genuinely love your feedback.
What would make a weather app indispensable for you? Are there any features you'd want to see next?
Thanks for checking out Feel, and I'll be here all day answering questions and collecting feedback. 🙌
honestly the personality switch surprised me, picked the comedian one for a rainy afternoon and actually laughed out loud at my phone. the layered feel metric makes way more sense than just the raw temp too
Such a clever and fun solution to my daily weather check! It's really nice to actually know what it'll feel like, rather than numbers that tell me nothing. Love the widget option to have easy access to today's "feel".
Tried the comedian personality and it actually made me chuckle about the humidity, which I didn't expect from a weather app. The Scenes backgrounds are a really nice touch too.
The Outfit Check personality is genuinely fun and the scenes make it feel less like a weather app and more like a little vibe check. Surprised how much I cared about the background change.
Love how the personalities change the tone, that's such a fun touch. One thing I'd love is a widget option so I can glance at today's "feel" without opening the app, maybe with the same personality voice baked into the preview.
The personalities actually change how it talks which is a nice touch. Picked Comedian and got a genuinely funny line about humidity. Worth a look.
A "Yesterday vs Today" comparison mode that highlights how the feel changed from one day to the next would be really useful, especially with the Outfit Check personality. Could also tie nicely into the Scenes feature by visually swapping backgrounds to match.
