It sucks. Here’s my issues. 1) the intro mentions 2 free generations to sample the product, yet my account showed 0. 2) The App Store mentions an Unlimited subscription, but when I clicked on it, it just brought me back to the same page in the app. No mention of a subscription plan. 3) there’s no obvious ways to get help, no FAQ’s, no contact. 4) I broke down and paid the $0.49 for one generation and the output sucked. Here’s why: 4a) I asked for LGBTQ Activism Strategies and the image it generated was a purple background with two lines of incoherent, jumbled, bold white text. I could’ve done better than that myself and I can’t even draw stick figures. 4b) the text it generated was low quality. 4b1) first, the suggestions were so obvious they were not helpful. 4b2) the formatting was crazy bad! (I wish I could show you the screenshot.) 4b3) there was no way to copy or share to social. No buttons to copy. Couldn’t even highlight the text to copy it. 4b3) No way to revise, modify, or correct negative outputs beside paying for another generation attempt. This app sounds like a good idea, but the execution needs work. As it stands right now it’s just a waste of money, time and effort. BTW I’m using an iPhone 11. Oh yeah, the good: 1) the hashtags were ok*. *except the most relevant one, LGBTQ, wasn’t a hash tag, just plain text. And none of them were clickable. I’d love to try it out again once these bugs are squashed.

Who hunted FeedAI?

FeedAI was hunted by David Krammer. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
