Fauneya is an interactive map that shows you where and when to observe wildlife in the wild: whales, whale sharks, elephants, sharks, bears and more. For each species: migration patterns by month, observation spots with sighting probability, accessibility, and observation modes (diving, snorkeling, safari, trekking...). No guessing, no travel agencies, just data-driven planning for wildlife encounters.
I built Fauneya after spending way too much time googling "best time to see whale sharks" before every trip and getting different answers on every site.
The idea was simple: one map, every species, every month. You pick an animal, you see where and when to go.
No blog posts to cross-reference, no tour operator bias.
50+ species mapped so far with seasonal observation windows and spot-level info. Still early but already useful for planning.
