Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm a designer who's spent the past five years traveling the world, and somewhere along the way I realized I was more interested in planning trips around wildlife I could only find in certain places than checking off landmarks.
What sparked the idea for Fauna was when I was bouncing ideas around with my engineer partner, who spends his time gardening and playing adventure games. We both share a deep love for nature and wanted to turn exploring it into a personal quest.
So we built Fauna for people who love the outdoors and want to keep a record of their encounters. Wildlife has a whole world of its own, and we wanted exploring it to feel as exciting as collecting flags from the countries you've visited.
