FasterGH is a fast GitHub mirror UI backed by Convex as a real-time cache/sync layer. GitHub is the source of truth; Convex is the low-latency read model.
A read-optimized UI that never hits the GitHub API on page load makes FasterGH more than a visual cleanup. Does it keep that speed once review threads and check runs pile up? That is where GitHub usually starts to feel bloated.
GitHub navigation can get slow when you’re jumping across large repos, so a tool focused purely on making the browsing experience faster is a great idea.
Improving something developers use every day can have a surprisingly big impact on productivity.
Curious if FasterGH also adds shortcuts or features for navigating large codebases more efficiently.
Congrats on the launch.
@GitHub UI is cluttered. @rhyssullivan just made it simplifier and faster. LFG
