Hi! I'm Gauthier from the FanBase team, and as you can imagine, today's a big day for us.
For two years, we built bespoke fan apps for some of the largest esports teams and gaming brands in the world. Our biggest challenge was always the same: converting social followers into users of those apps. Getting people to leave the platform they love is hard.
So we built the new FanBase around two principles.
First, meet people where they already are. Instead of pulling followers off socials, we give brands and creators the tools to engage, convert and nurture their audience right on X, Instagram, TikTok and the rest, no redirect required.
Second, AI agents should be proactive, not another workflow to set up. Most tools hand you a blank automation builder. We wanted the opposite: no prompt, no setup. So we built our own memory system that learns a brand's voice by pulling every comment, mention and interaction, then monitors your socials and acts like your best marketer. It spots buying intent in a comment and triggers a DM, answers your loyal followers instantly, and recycles content across platforms.
Basically, all the tools we wish we'd had for the last two years.

the buying-intent-triggers-a-DM part is the one I'd want guardrails on. unsolicited brand DMs already have a spammy reputation, and if it's triggered off a public comment, there's a real risk it reads as "why is this brand watching me that closely" instead of helpful. is there a delay, rate limit, or human review step before the DM actually fires, or does it go out the moment the signal is detected?
how does the AI actually pick up on my voice and tone without me having to feed it a bunch of old posts first
Curious how the AI actually learns my voice over time. Does it need a batch of past posts to get started, or can it pick up my style as it goes from the first few replies?
