Family Command Center
The family operating system that works in any browser
Most families juggle 6+ apps just to stay organized — calendars, chore trackers, budget spreadsheets, meal planners, shopping lists, and scattered document folders. Family Command Center replaces all of them with one clean system that works in Notion, Google Sheets, Excel, and any browser — no accounts, no monthly fees, no data lock-in.
I built Family Command Center because my own family was drowning in sticky notes, WhatsApp reminders, and a half-dead Google Sheet that nobody checked. I wanted one calm, visual space where my partner and I could see everything — who's picking up the kids, what's for dinner, did we pay the electricity bill — without opening six different apps or paying another monthly subscription.
I started with just a simple chore tracker in Excel. But as friends asked for copies, it grew into a full household operating system. The hardest part was making it powerful and simple enough that a non-tech-savvy parent could use it in 2 minutes. I tested it with 10+ families, stripped out the clutter, and rebuilt it until it worked in any browser — no app download, no signup, no learning curve.
Today it ships in three formats: HTML dashboards (works in any browser), Excel workbooks (real formulas, auto-calculations), and a Notion template — so every family can use the surface they already know. And I'm dropping the Essentials version completely free so no family has to stay disorganized because of a price tag.
Would love to hear: what's the one household chaos you'd want a command center to fix first?
