Famally
AI that plans your family's meals, groceries & budget
Most family apps do one thing — a meal planner here, a grocery list there, a budget app elsewhere. Famally does it all in one place, for the whole household. AI plans your meals, builds the grocery list, scans receipts to track your budget, watches your pantry, and syncs chores and the calendar. What stands out is the loop — plan → shop → scan → budget → repeat — so it gets smarter about your family every week. Free on web and IOS (Android coming soon).
Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Keith, the maker of Famally — and a dad of four, ages 8 to 20. That range is exactly why I built this. Organizing a family that spans a second-grader and a 20-year-old meant a stack of apps that never talked to each other: Plan to Eat for meals, Cozi for the calendar, and a scattering of notes apps for everything else. Every week ended with the same question — "what's for dinner, and did we blow the grocery budget again?" — and the answer lived in five different places. The problem I wanted to solve: families don't need five more apps, they need the busywork done and everything in one place. So Famally uses AI to plan the week's meals, turn them into a smart grocery list, scan your receipts to track spending against a budget, keep an eye on the pantry, and sync chores and the calendar — for everyone in the house, not just the person who signed up. The biggest shift while building it was realizing the magic wasn't any single feature — it was the loop. Plan → shop → scan → budget → repeat. Once the receipt scan started feeding the budget and the next meal plan, the app got smarter about our family every week — and juggling four kids' schedules and appetites from one place finally felt manageable. It's free to try on web, iOS, and Android. I'd love your honest feedback — especially on the meal-plan → grocery-list flow and how the AI handles different ages, picky eaters, and dietary needs under one roof.
