This started as a selfish project. Our kids kept asking for "a story about me and siblings/friends from school at bedtime, and we were tired of improvising the same plot every night. The existing AI story apps we tried all felt like Mad Libs - swap a name into a template and call it personalization. Our kids saw through it immediately.
So we built what we actually wanted:
