Explore bankruptcies across the Netherlands in one place. Search companies, access insolvency records, read trustee reports, follow case developments and discover trends through interactive statistics and insights. Built for legal professionals, entrepreneurs, creditors, researchers and anyone who needs reliable bankruptcy information.
I'm excited to share Faillissement.app, an independent platform I've been building to make bankruptcy information in the Netherlands more accessible, transparent and easier to navigate.
The problem
Every year, thousands of businesses in the Netherlands face bankruptcy. While much of this information is publicly available, finding the right details can be surprisingly difficult.
Information is often spread across official registers, court publications and lengthy documents. Following developments in a particular bankruptcy or identifying broader trends takes time and effort.
I believe public information should actually be accessible to the public.
So I built Faillissement.app.
A platform that brings Dutch bankruptcy information together in one place, with a focus on usability, transparency and useful insights.
Here's what you can do:
π Search bankruptcies: Find companies and insolvency proceedings by name, registration number, location or bankruptcy trustee.
π Explore detailed case files: Access bankruptcy records, court information, trustee reports, important dates and case developments.
π Stay informed: Save cases, follow developments and set up alerts for bankruptcies relevant to you.
π Discover trends: Explore bankruptcy statistics by province, industry and time period.
βοΈ Find practical information: Understand bankruptcy procedures, creditor rights and what happens when a company goes bankrupt.
πΊοΈ Explore geographically: Discover bankruptcies across different regions of the Netherlands.
Who is it for?
Faillissement.app is designed for legal professionals, insolvency practitioners, business owners, creditors, journalists, researchers and anyone interested in business insolvencies.
The platform is free to explore, with additional functionality available for professional users.
What's next?
I'm continuing to improve the platform, expand its functionality and make bankruptcy data even more useful.
The platform currently focuses on the Netherlands and is available in Dutch.
As an independent developer, I'd really appreciate your feedback.
What would make a platform like this more useful to you? Are there any features or data visualizations you'd like to see?
