FacetLab
Polish a rough diamond in your browser, learn the 4Cs
FacetLab is a free, open-source WebGL learning simulator from 4Cs.co.za. Inspect a rough diamond crystal, reveal inclusions, plan the proportions, polish the facets of a brilliant cut, and generate a finished 4Cs scorecard (cut, colour, clarity, carat). It runs entirely in your browser. Educational only: no signup, no pricing, no appraisal. Source open on GitHub.
Hi everyone! I'm the maker behind FacetLab. I built it to make the diamond 4Cs (cut, colour, clarity, carat) something you learn by doing rather than reading. You inspect a rough crystal, find inclusions, plan proportions, polish the facets, and get a 4Cs scorecard at the end. It's free, open-source (WebGL + Three.js), runs in your browser with no signup, and is published by 4Cs.co.za. Would love your feedback!
