FaceBubble
Your face in a bubble over any app. Free, no watermarks.
FaceBubble records your face in a floating bubble over any app on your iPhone. Record or go live to Twitch, YouTube and Facebook. Completely free - no watermarks, no limits, no subscriptions.
Hi - this one came from a personal problem. I wanted to record my phone screen with my face on it for TikTok, and I couldn't find an app that did it well.
With FaceBubble you record your screen and face at the same time, then either save it to Photos or stream straight to Twitch, YouTube or Facebook. It's completely free - no watermarks, no limits, no subscriptions.
normal screen recording flow is just annoying enough that I usually skip sending video recording of my mobile screen. this is much better. also good that it stays on-device instead of pushing everything into another cloud service.
Would be great to get simple annotations at some point too.
Keeping a real face on screen while you walk through something is a small thing that makes clips feel so much friendlier, and having it float wherever you want is a genuinely nice touch
"Completely free, no watermarks, no subscriptions" is a rare combo for this category, most face-bubble/reaction-cam apps I've seen gate the export behind a paywall eventually. What's the plan long-term, is this a loss leader for something else you're building or genuinely staying free forever? Also curious how it handles the Twitch/YouTube live streaming piece on iOS given how locked down screen+camera capture usually is on the platform.
