I’m Adam, founder of Forgeworks Labs, and I’ve spent the last year building Fable Forge because I wanted something I couldn’t really find myself: an AI RPG that feels more like an actual RPG than an endless chatbot.
The idea behind Fable Forge is fairly simple:
The world is authored. The rules are real. The AI makes it interactive.
Instead of asking an AI to invent everything on the fly, Fable Forge combines crafted RPG worlds with persistent state, NPC memory, progression, structured mechanics, and AI-driven narration and interaction.
That means you can still talk to characters naturally and attempt actions in your own words, but there’s an actual game underneath the conversation keeping track of what is true and what has changed.
We’re still in Early Access and there’s a lot more coming. Right now I’m especially focused on making the experiences deeper, improving how the systems interact with the AI, and expanding the range of worlds you can play.
