Hey PH! I'm Victor, the creator of FaberJS.
I've been writing Laravel for 7 years. It's been my go-to because it lets me scaffold fast, gives me real structure, and ships so much out of the box. I got so used to that opinionated, convention-first way of working that switching to Node and TypeScript felt like starting over
I tried NestJS and AdonisJS, but neither felt like Laravel. Nest feels like Angular, and Adonis has its own mental model that you still have to learn. I wanted zero translation cost, same instincts, same speed, just in TypeScript.
So I built FaberJS. I wanted to carry my Laravel knowledge across ecosystems. same mental model, same speed, same confidence, just in Node and TypeScript. Route -> Controller -> Service -> Model -> Job. Everything where you expect it.
FaberJS ships with routing, an ActiveRecord ORM, queues, events, auth, and a CLI out of the box. Zero config to get started. If you've spent time in Laravel and felt lost in Node, this is for you.
Happy to answer anything, I'd genuinely love your honest feedback.
