Fabar adds per-app volume control to your Mac menu bar — a feature macOS still lacks. Quiet a loud online lecture while keeping your BGM. No virtual audio drivers, no subscription — just sliders for each running app. $9.99 one-time · macOS 14+ · 30-day refund · 20% off until June 15

I built Fabar because macOS still only has one system volume. During online lectures, the instructor's voice would spike — but lowering system volume also killed my BGM. I kept doing that 90-minute seesaw every week until I gave up and built my own tool. I tried existing apps, but most felt heavier than what I needed. I wanted something smaller: open the menu bar, drag one slider, done. Fabar uses Apple's Process Tap API (macOS 14+), so no virtual audio device or driver install. It's not on the App Store because that API doesn't fit the sandbox — same situation as most per-app volume tools on Mac. Compared to BackgroundMusic: Fabar is paid but much simpler (sliders only). Compared to SoundSource: Fabar focuses on one thing at ~1/4 the price. No free trial, but 30-day refund. Launch offer (20% off until June 15): https://gigaptera.lemonsqueezy.c... Would love feedback — especially if any app doesn't respond to per-app volume on your setup. I'll be here to reply. Thanks for checking it out!
