I am a live streamer on multiple platforms where my content mainly evolves around truck simulation such as American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2. One thing that really helps with the immersion in such games is head and eye tracking other than the usual peripherals such as a steering wheel and gear shifter. So when I found out about the Eyeware Beam iOS Edition I was very eager to try this out. That's where my Eyeware Beam journey started.
So quite some years ago I invested in a TrackIr for head tracking with the afore mentioned games. It gave me a whole new sense of freedom and enjoyment out of truck simulation. Being able to freely look around and enjoy the scenery in the game. I later was provided the opportunity to beta test new head tracking features in theHunter: Classic and later theHunter: Call of the Wild with a Tobii head and eye tracking device. It added eye tracking capability that the TrackIR did not have. And now we have Eyeware Beam Webcam Edition. Offering all of this plus some.
What Eyeware Beam Webcam Edition is doing is coming into the head and eye tracking market offering a quality product with easier availability and more affordability compared to it's competitors. For a fraction of the price there are a wider range of functions and tools available all the while remaining easy to setup and user friendly. By making use of webcam capabilities and not needing the extra hardware that TrackIR and Tobii require, Eyeware Beam is greatly opening up the market for head and eye tracking for gaming enthusiasts, live streamers and content creators. As the majority of them already own web cameras.
