I'm the developer behind Explicode.
I built this because I kept running into the same problem: documentation always ends up in a separate file, drifts out of sync with the code, and regular code comments are plain. Also, when using agentic coding, the code lacked context. I wanted styled docs that lived with the code, something like Jupyter Notebooks but for an actual repository and across different languages. The idea was also inspired by Donald Knuth's concept of literate programming, brought into the modern development workflow.
