Hey everyone!
ExplainThisDoc started as a side project to help people understand confusing documents. But while building it, I discovered what I wanted for myself: a better version of my giant pile of paperwork. Adding documents was easy. Finding that one contract months later took forever.
That’s what inspired The Smart Archive Update: scan or import, keep the original, and find it again with search, tags and on-device summaries. Deeper AI explanations are there when I need help understanding something.
The idea is simple: “scan and forget” - until you need it again.
