Hi Hunters! 👋 I’m Alex, founder of Expert Remote. And I’d like to share my story. I started as a freelance developer on Upwork in 2012. Then in 2014-2019, I ran my own IT agency. We helped dozens of startups build their engineering teams, and some even became unicorns. After our agency was acquired (we had 50+ devs) I worked on 3 startups as a co-founder. Suddenly, I was on the hiring side! What could go wrong, right? We are still producing talents, especially from tier 3 cities for its very cost effectiveness. In our early stages, what mistake we were doing is that we were outsourcing our resources to every niche, and then the problem occurs, because not every resource can perform well on every niche, then we decided to make our niche only for funded startups and train them according to their problems and then supply to them only. It's working very well now :)

@alex_chepovoi Great concept and great idea! Being on the IT market for almost 20 years I really know how deceptive a software outsourcing could be. Your just Google "hire Java developer" and you get tons of websites offering hassle-free hiring, BUT in reality this is you who actually do the screening, interviewing, measuring soft and hard skills of every single tech specialist. It takes hours and days. Looks like your product at least shorten this distance a while which is really great! Good luck with this one!

Congrats for the launch. If I understood correctly, there is a fair amount of resources required to select add new developers in your pool of experts. So you are aiming for quality vs quantity with automatization/AI ?
