I built this because I kept hitting the same wall with personal finance apps: they were either too heavy (bank linking, subscriptions, dashboards I never opened) or too simple (a list of expenses with no real picture of where I stood). I wanted something I’d actually use every day — log a purchase in seconds, see my month at a glance, and understand not just what I spent, but how income, expenses, and credit fit together.
That’s where the Track. Understand. Grow. idea came from. Expensia isn’t just an expense tracker — it brings income, spending, and credit (loans and cards) into one place. The home screen shows your balance for the period you care about — today, this month, or a custom range — and Insights breaks down where your money is really going.
Along the way, the product changed a lot. It started as “just log transactions,” but I kept asking: What number do I actually want to see when I open the app? That led to period-based balance views, mixing credits into the activity feed, and treating debt as part of cash flow — not a separate spreadsheet. I also pushed hard on mobile-first PWA behavior so it feels like a native app on your phone: install it, add from the quick-action menu, get back to your day.
This launch is the first public version — real auth, real-time sync, and a flow I use myself daily. I’d love your feedback, especially on what feels fast vs. what still feels like friction when logging money on the go.
