Hi Product Hunt, I'm Mounir, the maker of ExcaliClaw. I love hand-drawn diagrams, but they kept getting lost in random files, and my AI agent could only give me Mermaid text or ASCII boxes. So I built a workspace where diagrams live, stay organized, and your agent can draw in them. What you get: • Collections and instant search, so nothing gets lost • Real-time collaboration, sharing by link or by name • An MCP server: connect Claude, Cursor or VS Code (OAuth, nothing to paste) and let them create and edit diagrams • Version history, trash and backup export, so mistakes are cheap • English, Español and Français Pricing, plainly (excl. VAT): • Free: 200 drawings, unlimited AI (MCP) use, no credit card • Starter: €9/month (unlimited drawings, 30-day history) • Pro: €29/month (embed in your site, unlimited history; extra teammates €3/month) It uses the Excalidraw editor for drawing and is an independent product. I'd love to hear how you document architecture today, and what would make an AI-drawn diagram trustworthy enough for you to keep. Thanks for taking a look!

For me what would make an AI-drawn diagram trustworthy is being able to see the steps the agent took, not just the final canvas. When Claude edits through the MCP server, do I get a short description of what it changed that I can review before keeping it?

Letting the agent draw the diagram is the part I want. I describe architecture in text all day and nobody reads it. When Claude edits an existing diagram, does it move only what changed, or redraw the whole layout? If I've arranged the boxes by hand, I'd hate to lose that on every edit.

"mistakes are cheap" because of version history is the right design answer for solo use, but the case I'm curious about is real-time collaboration plus the MCP server at the same time, me dragging a box around by hand while Claude is mid-edit on the same diagram through MCP. does the agent see my cursor position and avoid the area I'm touching, or is it genuinely last-write-wins and I just have to not edit while an agent session is active? asking because the moment two editors (human and agent) are live on the same canvas, "version history" only helps after the collision, not during it.

Is this a port of excalidraw.com ?

honestly what'd make me keep an AI diagram is if it stopped moving my stuff around. I fix the layout by hand, ask it to add one box, and suddenly everything's rearranged. does it leave the existing layout alone when it edits?

Being able to create and edit diagrams through Claude or Cursor sounds really handy especially when explaining complex ideas.
