The Problem:
We've all experienced the pre-exam anxiety, but often, the most stressful part isn't the test itself—it's figuring out how to get to a distant or unfamiliar exam center early in the morning. I constantly saw students struggling to coordinate travel, paying premium surge prices for cabs, or navigating confusing public transit alone. Many were heading to the exact same exam center but had no way to connect with each other.
The Solution:
I built ExamBuddy to fix this. It’s a platform designed specifically to connect students traveling to common exam centers. It allows you to find peers heading to the same location, coordinate travel plans, share rides, and split costs.
The Journey:
The initial idea was just a simple tool for splitting cab fares. However, as I spoke with more students, the approach evolved. It became clear that the real value was in the community and coordination—giving students a safe, reliable way to find travel buddies and reduce the stress of the journey so they can focus on succeeding in their exams.
