Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm with EvoX Group, the team behind EvoX Genesis. Coding agents today can fix issues and ship features — but real software outlives any single agent session. Genesis takes a different approach: instead of keeping one agent alive, the software world itself carries continuity (accepted code, constraints, validation evidence, history), while finite-lifetime agents recursively expand the work. What we've run so far: 🔧 From an empty repo → a 248,989-line C compiler in Rust, developed over 123.4 hours across 1,019 agent episodes — $44.38 recorded model-token cost, validated with c-testsuite (220/220), Csmith (93/93), LZ4 and SQLite 🔄 Swapped the foundation model mid-development (GLM 5.2 → DeepSeek V4 Flash) — development continued, didn't restart (1820/1820 on the retained LLVM SingleSource manifest) 🔬 Reimplemented 13 audited Fortran modules of the MESA stellar-evolution code (139,414 lines) into an 89,946-line Rust workspace — 1,052 tests, 0 failures, 1.55×–6.87× median speedups, numerical behavior preserved (2 of 6 workloads bit-exact) And it's not just a research prototype: installable desktop apps for macOS, Windows, and Linux — download, state a development goal, and watch the recursive agent tree work. Full source on GitHub for anyone who wants to hack on it. 🌐 https://genesis.evox.group/ | 💻 https://github.com/EMI-Group/gen... We're publishing the experiments' boundaries alongside the results — questions, scrutiny, and feedback all welcome. 🙏

Who hunted EvoX Genesis?

EvoX Genesis was hunted by EvoX. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
