Everdice
Text-based D&D you can play solo, online, or by post
Everdice is a browser-based tabletop RPG platform that's pure text — no maps, no tokens, no bloated virtual tabletop. Brand-new to D&D? Start a guided solo adventure in seconds. Got a group? Run live online sessions or slow-burn play-by-post campaigns. Want to be the Dungeon Master? Tools that handle the bookkeeping so you can focus on the story. Solo is the front door; playing together is the whole point.
Hey Product Hunt I'm the solo dev behind Everdice.
I built this because the best hobby I know has a real on-ramp problem: you need a group, you need someone willing to run it, and both are hard to find. So Everdice lets you start playing solo, right now in your browser — and then makes it easy to graduate into real games with other people, live or by post.
It's all text and theater-of-the-mind by design — the way the game started, minus the friction. Solo mode has optional AI assistance as a learning aid; the goal was never to replace a table, it was to get more people to one.
Would genuinely love your feedback — especially from anyone who's wanted to try D&D but never had the group for it. AMA in the comments. 🎲

Who hunted Everdice?
Everdice was hunted by David Koepsell. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
