This one started with a real frustration.
Someone we knew ran a Diwali celebration. 200 people, $25 tickets. They used Eventbrite because that's the default. After the event, Eventbrite had collected $574 in fees and held the payout for 5 days. For a $5,000 event. The poster was made in Canva. RSVPs were managed in a separate tool. Guest photos were scattered across everyone's phones and never shared. And the event page looked exactly like every other Eventbrite page, which is to say it looked like nothing special at all.
That same event on Eventreels costs $205 in platform fees. Payout hits instantly. The poster gets generated from a text prompt. Guests get a disposable camera during the event and a shared photo gallery after. And you can actually make it look like a Diwali celebration.
That's the gap we kept seeing and eventually couldn't ignore.
