Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Matias, the maker of Eventphoto.io.
The problem: after every wedding or party, the best photos sit on 100 guests' phones and never reach the host. Asking people to download an app or join a shared album means most of them never do.
So I built the simplest version I could: the host prints one QR code, guests scan it, pick photos and videos from their camera roll, type a first name and upload. It runs in the phone browser, so there's no app and no login for guests or for the host.
A few choices I made on purpose: • Pay once per event ($19.99), not a subscription. The free plan covers 20 photos per guest for 14 days. • Files are stored exactly as uploaded, in original quality, and the host downloads everything as one ZIP. • Galleries are private and never indexed. Add a PIN if you want. • 15 languages, because a wedding in Denmark or Greece needs a guest page in the guests' language.
Hosts have created events from 53 countries so far.
