Messages translate in real time across 17 languages, then disappear when the chat ends. Think Google Translate without passing your phone to a stranger, plus it works remotely. Useful for travel, events, marketplace deals, quick support, or any conversation where swapping personal details feels like too much.
I built Evaporate.chat because there are loads of situations where you need to talk to someone, but swapping details, usernames or personal details feels like overkill.
Google Translate gets part of the way there, but only works in person, and passing your phone back and forth to a stranger is awkward, and potentially unsafe.
So I built a temporary, anonymous chat instead. Share a link or scan a QR code, chat in your own language, then let the whole thing disappear when you’re done.
