Errandly — Your work. Handled.
A free, local-first AI agent that handles your Mac busywork
Errandly is a free AI agent for macOS that handles the busywork on your computer. Tell it what you need in plain English: sort a cluttered folder, pull key points from a long PDF, or turn scattered notes into a clean report. Files are handled locally by default, so your documents stay on your Mac. No subscription. Download it and hand it your first errand.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Yousuf, a developer from Dhaka, and this is Errandly.
It started with a simple annoyance. Most AI assistants live in a browser tab. They can talk about your work, but they can't touch it. I'd still end up opening files, copying text back and forth, and building the report myself. On top of that, the useful ones cost a monthly fee that a lot of students and small business owners here in Bangladesh simply can't justify.
So I built something that lives on the Mac itself. You give Errandly an errand in plain language, and it works with the files and documents already on your machine:
📁 Organize messy folders
📄 Read and summarize documents
📊 Turn raw material into a finished report
A few decisions I made early on:
- Local by default. Your files are processed on your machine wherever possible.
- Free. No subscription wall.
- Open source. The code is on GitHub, so you can see exactly what it does with your files.
It's early, and I'd genuinely love your help shaping it. What's the one repetitive task on your computer you'd hand off first? I'm reading every comment today.
