Hi Product Hunt — I’m Takahiro Yonemura, an engineer and independent creator in Osaka, Japan.
I started developing the original version of this papercraft software more than 20 years ago. I wanted to connect digital 3D design with the physical satisfaction of printing, cutting, folding, and building something by hand.
ePaperCraft SHIRYU lets you create or edit a 3D model, unfold it into printable parts, and build the real object from paper. This Steam edition includes English UI and help plus more than 70 ready-to-build models. The original work behind this expanded edition was selected as a Jury Selection at the 10th Japan Media Arts Festival.
