I built English via Mind Maps because I saw too many students struggle with grammar for years without making real progress. They'd memorize rules, pass tests, but when it came time to actually speak – they'd freeze. The problem wasn't them. It was the method.
Traditional textbooks present grammar as isolated chunks. You learn Present Simple in Chapter 3, Past Simple in Chapter 8, and by the time you reach Future Perfect, you've forgotten how they all connect. I wanted to flip that. What if students could see the entire tense system on ONE page? What if color-coding helped their brain recognize patterns before they even read the words?
That's how the mind map method was born. I started sketching it on paper for my own students, and the results were immediate. They stopped translating in their heads. They started building sentences confidently. So I turned those sketches into a full video course.
The biggest challenge was simplifying without dumbing down. Grammar is complex, but the framework shouldn't be. Every map went through dozens of iterations until each tense, modal, and pronoun had its exact place in the visual system.
