Endless Fantasy brings tabletop RPG mechanics to AI storytelling. Challenging actions require a d20 roll, so success and failure create unexpected consequences and unique story paths. Combined with multiple genres, character archetypes, and complete freedom to speak or act, every adventure feels like playing with a real AI Dungeon Master rather than following a scripted story.
Hey everyone,
We built Endless Fantasy because we wanted AI storytelling that feels closer to a real RPG campaign than a chat-based experience.
The key difference is the d20 system: when players attempt difficult actions, a 20-sided die is rolled. Success or failure directly changes how the story unfolds, introducing real uncertainty and consequences similar to tabletop RPGs.
Players can choose genres, character archetypes, and freely act or speak, while the AI adapts and continues the story dynamically.
We are actively working on new features and continuing to evolve the experience based on player feedback.
We’d be interested to hear feedback, especially from RPG players and indie game developers.
How does the d20 system actually work in practice, like is there a set DC the AI uses for skill checks or does it adapt based on the narrative context?
Love the d20 mechanic - it makes the AI feel like an actual DM instead of a yes-machine. One thing I'd really like is a session memory log, so my character inventory, NPC relationships, and quest progress persist between sessions. Right now after a few hours away I forget what happened and the AI does too.
