Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm René, founder of EmpCo-Check.
We built EmpCo-Check after seeing the same challenge over and over again: sustainability claims are everywhere, but very few companies know which ones could become a compliance risk under the new EU rules.
Most existing AI tools can summarize content or point out obvious issues, but they don't explain *why* something is risky or help teams document their decisions. We wanted to build something that marketing, sustainability and legal teams could actually work with together.
EmpCo-Check scans websites, PDFs and marketing materials, detects environmental claims, classifies them, explains the reasoning behind each result and helps collect the supporting evidence in one place. Our goal isn't to replace legal experts—it's to make compliance reviews much faster and more transparent.
Building the product taught us that the hard part isn't finding claims. It's reducing false positives, making AI decisions understandable, and turning regulatory guidance into something people can actually use.

The classification with the reasoning was surprisingly clear, almost like having a junior compliance reviewer explain why a phrase might trip up the regulators. Made me rethink a couple of lines we already shipped.
