Emis
French quotes & invoices in the browser. No account.
Emis is a French quote & invoice editor that runs entirely in your browser. No account, no cloud: your data stays in localStorage. Includes the legal mentions required in France (CIBS L.223). It is not an approved platform (PA) and does not do e-invoicing. Free with a watermark; 29 EUR once to remove it on this browser.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Jeremy. I built Emis because writing a compliant French quote or invoice usually means signing up for a SaaS and handing over client data. Emis runs entirely in your browser: no account, no server, everything stays in localStorage. It generates the legal mentions required in France (CIBS L.223). Being honest about the perimeter: it is NOT an approved platform (PA) and it does NOT do e-invoicing, so if your obligation is transmission via a PA, Emis is not that tool. It's free with a watermark; 29 EUR once removes it on that browser. No subscription, no upsell. Happy to hear what's missing.

Who hunted Emis?
Emis was hunted by Jeremy Laurent. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
