A dependency update changes one line in a manifest. The work is finding which source files depend on the API that moved, and deciding whether a patch is safe to offer.
Emendant is a local command line tool for TypeScript and JavaScript repositories. It matches your source against a curated feed of changes in six AI SDKs. Each finding names the exact call site and links to tagged provider evidence. A scan is read only, makes no network request, and uploads no source code.
Here is the launch proof. AI SDK 5 renamed CoreMessage to ModelMessage. In a public repository built to demonstrate the tool, Emendant found all three uses in src/chat.ts, wrote a three-line patch, installed [email protected] in a copy of the repository, and ran its own typecheck. The patch was marked TYPECHECKED because npm run typecheck passed. The repository has no test script, so this is not a test-verified result.

Emendant does not update dependencies, review unrelated code or invent changes that are absent from its feed. I would value feedback on whether the finding, evidence and patch grade give you enough information to plan an SDK upgrade.
