Emailyst
Clears the junk out of your Apple Mail inbox, on your Mac
Your email app blocks some spam, but ads, newsletters you never asked for and fake "your subscription expired" emails still get in. Emailyst finds them and moves them out of your inbox. It runs on your Mac with the AI built into macOS, works with the internet off, and you never make an account or type your email password. It learns what you keep, catches emails pretending to be big companies, and never deletes anything. Free for 1,000 emails per account, $29 once.
Hey Product Hunt, I'm Odibert. I'm an electrical engineer, and I build software on the side.
I built Emailyst because my own inbox kept filling up with stuff my junk filter let through: sales emails, newsletters, and a lot of fake "your McAfee subscription expired" emails that looked like bills.
Here's how it works:
- Pick a mailbox in Apple Mail and press start.
- It reads each email on your Mac and puts it into groups, like ads, newsletters, receipts and login codes.
- You look at the groups and choose what to move. It never deletes anything, and one click puts it all back.
- When you say "keep this one", it remembers for next time.
- It checks who really sent each email, so fakes pretending to be big companies get caught.
It uses the AI that's built into macOS, so your emails are never sent anywhere and it even works with the internet off. You don't make an account or type your email password.
It's free for 1,000 emails per email account, and $29 once for the full version. No subscription. You need a Mac with an Apple chip on macOS 26.
I'd love to hear what it gets wrong in your inbox. That's the most useful feedback I can get.
