Hey Product Hunt! I built Elif because the prayer app I used kept interrupting the thing it was meant to help with - a banner ad over an ayah, a popup between two rak'ahs. So I made the opposite: one calm app, zero ads, and nothing sold about you.
Elif covers a full Muslim day - prayer times with adhan alerts and a live lock-screen countdown, the whole Qur'an (mushaf view, multiple translations, verse-by-verse audio, memorisation mode, khatm tracking), a qibla compass with an AR mode, a dhikr counter and duas.
The part I'd most like feedback on is "Ask Elif": an AI assistant for religious questions that always shows the verse, hadith or classical source behind its answer, and lets you pick your madhhab. It is not a fatwa authority and says so - the goal is "here is the answer and here is where it comes from", not an unattributed opinion.
Free on iOS and Android, in 7 languages. Prayer times and qibla are calculated on-device, so your location never leaves your phone. Happy to answer anything.
