Task-specific instructions your agent loads when relevant. ElevenLabs' Procedures feature lets voice agents load task-specific instructions only when relevant, like an employee handbook. It supports free-form procedures (natural-language, adaptive) and structured procedures (fixed step-by-step sequences). Useful for agents handling many distinct tasks, like refunds or identity verification, without bloating the main system prompt. Currently in Alpha.
We built this to solve our own workflow headaches first. Would love to hear what frustrates you most about this space, and whether this approach actually fixes it for you, too.
Love that this finally fixes the system prompt bloat problem. Loading refund steps only when someone mentions a refund is way cleaner than cramming every flow into the main prompt and hoping the model picks the right one.
